Chapter 1: Fugitive on the run
2009 A.D.: I looked backwards, my feet thudding against the pavement as I'd started running out of breath and breathing hardily. I'd spoken to myself for a moment, "I can't let them catch me, I just can't! I'd rather be on my own. My life would be better that way." I'd heard sirens coming from the south as three cars had sped up to me, their wheels screeching, and rubber burning. The thing is, I wasn't normal. I wasn't like any other kid you'd see playing video games, playing Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, or Football. I'm different. I was 10 times faster, stronger, and smarter than any normal kid you would see. I don't even know much about my past. All I can remember is back to when I was ten. I was raised by two civilians, Jane and Vince. It feels like I've been in a coma for the past 4 years because when I'd gone back to where I'd lived, the place had been broken down. Jane and Vince are dead. They are gone. I finally stopped, my breath heavy, cop cars coming straight towards me prepared to run me over if they'd needed to. One of the cars came straight at me. I gently pushed it to the side as it went flying down the hill next to where I was standing tumbling until it went through a house breaking the wall and finally stopping. I appeared in front of the oncoming cop car pushing my hands forwards with all my force as a blue wave of energy crossed over me and the car split in half killing the driver right before my eyes. I jumped up and came down smashing one of the cop cars. I'd heard a familiar sound in the air. "Damn.....They're here..." The sound of five helicopters surrounded me, as I looked up spotting them plain as daylight.*I jumped up to a house ready to attack when I'd looked back and seen something Miraculous. A vortex was right behind me. I could end it right now. I knew that vortex would take me somewhere or even kill me! The helicopter pilots locked onto me, as missiles flew out from the holders on the side of the helicopters, I'd finally decided as I let myself fall backwards, off the roof of the house and into the swirling vortex below.....
